007 First Light Update 1.1.0 Adds Two TacSim Missions and Fixes Over 200 Issues

007 First Light Update 1.1.0 adds two TacSim Escalations, three weapons, a new outfit, and fixes for more than 200 reported issues.

007 First Light Update 1.1.0 is now available with the game’s first full patch beyond its initial run of hotfixes. IO Interactive says the release addresses more than 200 issues reported by players and internal testers while also adding two TacSim Escalations, three unlockable weapons, and a new outfit.

The update goes well beyond isolated bug fixes. It targets crashes, progression blockers, achievement problems, controller and input failures, mission-specific glitches, and TacSim issues across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Steam, Microsoft PC, and the Epic Games Store. Download sizes vary sharply by platform, with the PlayStation 5 package reaching 23.84 GB while the other listed versions remain below 4 GB.

The combination makes version 1.1.0 both a repair release and a content update. Players returning for the new TacSim missions receive the same build that addresses long-standing blockers and unlock problems, while campaign-focused players get a broad stability pass without needing to engage with the new rewards.

Two new TacSim Escalations expand the update

The Workshop and Extraction Avenues are the two new three-tier TacSim Escalations included in Update 1.1.0. The Workshop places Bond in a dark industrial area with seven hostiles standing between him and the exit. Its setup favors careful movement, staying out of sight, and choosing the right moment to remove each threat.

Extraction Avenues shifts the objective from eliminating a fixed group to escaping after securing data. Players must study the security layout, choose an efficient route, and get out before the response closes in. Both missions extend TacSim with repeatable scenarios built around escalating restrictions and different approaches rather than adding another main-story chapter.

Three weapons and a new outfit join TacSim progression

Update 1.1.0 adds four rewards that can be purchased with Intel after reaching their required Clearance Levels. The Stormberg 50’cal handgun unlocks at Clearance Level 10, the DRX-2 Machine Pistol at Level 12, and the DRS-7 Silenced SMG at Level 16. Each weapon costs 3,000 Intel.

The Diamond in the Rough outfit becomes available at Clearance Level 18 and also costs 3,000 Intel. Because the rewards sit at different progression milestones, returning players have several new targets rather than receiving every item immediately after installing the patch.

More than 200 fixes target stability and progression

IO Interactive’s fix list covers the entire game. Stability changes address several Xbox Series S crashes, a TacSim shotgun crash, and failures tied to restarting or dying during specific sequences. Achievement fixes include cases where A Legacy of Spycraft, For Your Eyes Only, Casino Royale, and Recovered Assets could fail to unlock after players met their requirements.

Gameplay changes include a fix for aiming down sights becoming unresponsive on PlayStation after opening system menus, recognition of reconnected wireless controllers on Xbox Series consoles, and an issue that could leave TacSim’s Mission Selector, Gadget Cart, Outfit Selector, and Intel Shop unresponsive.

The update also corrects objective timers, challenge tracking, fast-forwarding cinematics, subtitle and voice-line problems, collision errors, enemy pathfinding, and numerous places where Bond could become stuck or fall outside the playable area.

The mission-specific section is extensive, with changes covering In His Majesty’s Secret Service, All the Time in the World, Beyond the Grave, Uninvited, Knightfall, Time to Die, Against the Odds, Man of the Hour, Wave of the Future, and For England. TacSim receives additional AI, challenge, upgrade, tutorial, and geometry fixes of its own.

Update size and what comes next

IO Interactive released version 1.1.0 at 09:00 UTC on July 24. The official download sizes are 23.84 GB on PlayStation 5, 3.6 GB on Steam, 1.39 GB on Xbox Series, 2.24 GB through Microsoft PC, and 3.99 GB through the Epic Games Store. The difference means PlayStation 5 owners should expect a much larger download than players using the other listed platforms.

The studio says more improvements and content updates are already in development. Players who continue to encounter problems can compare them with the game’s official known-issues list and submit additional reports through IO Interactive’s support channels.
