The Division Resurgence will be available on Steam on August 5, and Ubisoft has published four PC performance tiers covering targets from 1080p at 30 FPS to 4K at 60 FPS. The official specifications list Windows 11, DirectX 11, 8GB of dual-channel memory and 30GB of storage across every tier.
The free-to-play tactical shooter is already available on iOS and Android and can be played in PC early access through Ubisoft Connect. Ubisoft’s announcement confirms the Steam date, but it does not say whether the Steam build will be treated as a full release or remain part of the game’s early-access period.
The Division Resurgence PC requirements by tier
Ubisoft separates the PC requirements into Minimum, Recommended, High and Very High configurations. Ubisoft’s source page contains two apparent typographical errors in the processor and integrated-graphics lines. For readability, the table below normalizes those entries while preserving the remaining published requirements.
| Tier | Performance target | Processor | Graphics |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | 1080p at 30 FPS | Intel i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3400G | Intel UHD 630 or integrated GPU |
| Recommended | 1080p at 60 FPS | Intel i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 | NVIDIA GTX 1650 4GB, AMD RX 5500 4GB or Intel Arc A380 6GB |
| High | 2K at 60 FPS | Intel i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 | NVIDIA GTX 1660 6GB, AMD RX 5500 XT 8GB or Intel Arc A580 8GB |
| Very High | 4K at 60 FPS | Intel i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, AMD RX 5600 XT 6GB or Intel Arc A750 8GB |
Every configuration also lists the same shared requirements:
- Memory: 8GB dual-channel RAM
- Operating system: Windows 11
- Graphics API: DirectX 11
- Storage: 30GB
What the 1080p, 2K and 4K targets show
The minimum tier is the only configuration aimed at 30 FPS, while the remaining three target 60 FPS. Ubisoft pairs the recommended 1080p tier with the GTX 1650, RX 5500 and Arc A380, then moves to higher-memory graphics options for the listed 2K and 4K targets.
These figures are publisher-supplied requirements rather than independent GameTechReport benchmarks. They show the hardware classes Ubisoft associates with each resolution and frame-rate target, but they do not establish how stable those targets are in demanding areas or which graphics settings are used within each tier.
Steam release date and current availability
The Division Resurgence is scheduled to become available on Steam on August 5. Players can already access the game on iOS and Android, while the PC version is available in early access through Ubisoft Connect.
Ubisoft describes the game as a free-to-play tactical shooter with a new story set in the world of The Division. Its listed activities include a PvE campaign and the Dark Zone, together with signature equipment and weapons that can be combined into different loadouts.
What remains unconfirmed for the Steam version
The official announcement does not confirm cross-save support, account-transfer rules, preload timing or Steam-specific features. It also does not clearly state whether the August 5 Steam version represents a full launch or another early-access distribution option.
PC players should therefore treat Windows 11, DirectX 11, 8GB of dual-channel RAM and 30GB of storage as the clearest shared requirements, while checking the final Steam listing for any revised requirements before making hardware decisions.
