PlayStation Plus is keeping June busy, and for players who have had ark-style survival on the brain, Grounded Fully Yoked Edition looks like the standout oddball in the new Monthly Games lineup. Sony is also adding the co-op shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and the fighter Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, giving subscribers a mix of survival, action and fighting game options across PS5 and PS4.
June’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games
All three June titles will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, June 2 through Monday, July 6. The lineup is designed around multiplayer-friendly games, whether you want to build and survive, team up against waves of enemies, or jump into a cartoon brawler.
- Grounded Fully Yoked Edition — PS5, PS4
- Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 — PS5, PS4
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide — PS5
Grounded Fully Yoked Edition brings survival to the backyard
Grounded Fully Yoked Edition shrinks players down to insect-sized proportions and drops them into a backyard that has become a dangerous survival playground. You can explore the garden alone or with up to three friends online, gathering materials, building shelter, and crafting gear to hold off the creatures around you.
The game’s hook is simple but effective: a familiar suburban space becomes huge, hostile and full of surprises once you’re tiny. As you work through the survival loop, the story also pushes you toward figuring out what happened to your character and how to get back to normal size.
Darktide adds co-op sci-fi action
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the most aggressive-looking game in the June batch. Set in the city of Tertium, it sends four players into battles against swarms of enemies while mixing ranged combat with the close-quarters melee style the Vermintide series is known for.
That blend of gunplay and melee is the main draw here. Players move between weapons and combat ranges as they fight through enemy hordes, with chainswords and lasguns both part of the toolkit.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 rounds out the lineup
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 brings a lighter tone to the month with a roster of familiar cartoon faces. Characters include SpongeBob SquarePants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Squidward Tentacles and Jimmy Neutron, with more fighters in the mix as well.
The game can be played solo or online, and it adds powerful Supers alongside a roguelike player campaign. For anyone looking for a less serious multiplayer option, it fits neatly beside the month’s other releases.
EA Sports FC 26 stays available a little longer
PlayStation Plus members also still have time to claim EA Sports FC 26, which remains available as a Monthly Game through June 16. The game’s “The World’s Game” update adds a new international tournament mode with 48 national teams, along with new stadiums and international-themed Career content.
Subscribers also get an EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack as a bonus entitlement while the game is part of the Monthly Games lineup.
Don’t forget May’s games
There is also a deadline for May’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games. Subscribers have until Tuesday, June 2 to add Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols to their library.
