Intel Arc GPU Graphics drivers have a fresh beta update, and this one is focused squarely on game stability and day-to-day polish. Version 101.8824 Beta adds Game On support for 007: First Light while also fixing several crashes and display corruption issues across both discrete Arc cards and Intel integrated graphics.
Game On support for 007: First Light
The headline addition in this release is optimization support for 007: First Light. Intel continues to use its Game On driver updates to line up new releases with graphics tuning, and this beta adds the game to that list.
Bug fixes across multiple major games
Intel says this driver addresses a number of issues affecting popular PC games, including crashes and corruption during gameplay. The fixes cover Arc B-series discrete GPUs, A-series discrete GPUs, and integrated graphics in Core Ultra Series 3, Series 2, and Series 1 processors.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Black Ops 6, and Warzone now have fixes for corruption and crash issues during gameplay.
- Pragmata, Resident Evil: Requiem, Monster Hunter Wilds, HITMAN: World of Assassination, and Street Fighter 6 receive fixes for display corruption or crashes.
- An intermittent crash in The Finals has been addressed on Core Ultra Series 3.
Known issues still listed
The beta notes also include several remaining problems. Intel lists visual tearing with Frame Generation on Core Ultra Series 3 systems, with a suggestion to enable VSync in-game if it appears.
Other issues Intel flags in this release include:
- Mafia: The Old Country may crash during gameplay in DX12.
- Marathon may show intermittent corruption on certain objects when Anisotropic Filtering is enabled.
- Apex Legends may show flashing corruption on some maps in DX12.
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle may crash with path tracing enabled.
- Borderlands 4 may still hit an intermittent application crash in DX12.
Intel Graphics Software notes
The driver package also includes a handful of Intel Graphics Software fixes. These cover a possible crash when using the Windows 10 “reset all settings” option, a one-time crash when rearranging metrics in the select metrics window, and a problem where the Performance page may not hide graphs correctly when using the hide graphs button.
Intel Arc owners looking to stay current can grab the beta driver now. As usual with beta releases, the main focus here is bug fixing rather than major feature changes.
